urrently I am searching for freelance design work with ad agencies and studios in the greater Detroit area. I'm seeking a specific agency culture: the right blend of clients and creatives to bring out my best work.

Experience

October 2004-Present

AMPM, Inc., Midland, MI: Graphic Designer/Production Artist/Web Designer
Started as a production artist, retouching images and refining rough concepts into final art. Learned CSS and modern web design practices. Eventually began taking on jobs at their inception and creating concepts for trade shows, magazine illustrations, brochures, Flash animations, web designs, and a multitude of other projects. Currently working for them in a freelance capacity.

2001-2003

College of Communication and Fine Arts, Mt. Pleasant, MI:Computer Lab Assistant
Helped students with assignments and technical problems. Further developed multitasking abilities and maintained lab computer hardware.

March 2000-January 2002

CMLife, Mt. Pleasant, MI: Freelance Reporter
Wrote articles for the official campus newspaper of Central Michigan University. Developed interviewing, writing, and proofreading skills while composing stories under tight time constraints. Speed, accuracy and integrity were of paramount importance.

Operated and maintained photo lab processing equipment. Worked directly with customers in a high-speed retail environment while performing stock and register duties.
